ALL TOGETHER
In my work, I explore the complex and multifaceted nature of womanhood, celebrating the boldness, strength, and depth that define the women who inspire me. Through my art, I seek to illuminate the diverse identities and experiences that women embody, refusing to reduce them to singular narratives. Each piece is a tribute to the power of women to navigate the world on their own terms—fearless, resilient, and unapologetically themselves.
I embrace the contradictions that exist within every woman, acknowledging the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength, tenderness and assertiveness. Women, in all their layers, are a force to be reckoned with, and my art reflects their ability to adapt, challenge, and thrive in any environment. My work is a celebration of their inner fire and their quiet resolve, their voices and their silence, their dreams and their realities.
The colors, textures, and forms in my pieces are meant to evoke the energy of these qualities, bringing to life the many roles and identities women hold in our ever-evolving world. Whether bold and striking, soft and subtle, or abstract and dynamic, my work calls attention to the power women have to transform not only themselves but also the world around them. This is an ongoing conversation, a reminder that women are never one thing—they are everything.
This show also marks a special celebration of my collaboration with Elle France for their 80th Anniversary event this November. I am deeply honored to represent Canada in a group exhibition alongside Artcurial and Elle France, showcasing 30 female artists from around the world. Elle has chosen to highlight the work of female artists, aligning with their brand's commitment to strength, resilience, and the celebration of diversity among women globally.

MEET THE ARTIST
Canadian-born artist Ramona Nordal began her art exploration at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia. Here she studied under internationally renowned Canadian artist Dennis Burton and focused on colour theory, anatomy drawing and painting.
Her ambitious use of colour and symbolic figures create an overwhelming sense of energy in her work. Nordal thrives on deliberately mixing past and present cultural influences in her work and the end result is both captivating and refreshing. The subjects in Nordal’s paintings are reminiscent of times past with an edgy modern flare.
